I’m coming to the end of my tenure as custodian of my Poway abode and I have been remembering all the birds that have visited me here. I’m not a “lister” or “counter”, so I don’t have a quantification to offer, but I photograph my guests when I can. Not all my visitors are captured, but below are a few of the birds I’ve hosted this millennium. By my recollection, including passing migrants and flyovers, I’ve missed capturing twenty or thirty more species.
