I’m close to leaving on my next road adventure. I’m headed to Idaho via the long and winding road, where I plan to spend time with friends. I haven’t made up my mind about the road beyond Idaho, but I’m leaning towards a south and east general direction.
I’m planning to head north on US-395 to visit the spectacular scenery of the Eastern Sierras. In my view, the vistas between Lone Pine and Bridgeport are unrivaled. Where US-395 leaves California I expect to turn east and explore some of Nevada’s back roads and stick my nose into unfamiliar territory.
I’ve continued to update the pages in my Birds I Have Known galleries. I’ve been posting the updated pages on my Facebook page, but those who don’t use Facebook, I thought I’d provide some links to the recently edited pages.
Townsend’s Warbler, Long-Billed Curlew, Short-Billed Dowitcher, Semipalmated Plover, Sanderling, Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher, Common Yellowthroat, Black-Throated Sparrow, and Ash-Throated Flycatcher. I hope some of you will find some interest in these pages.
