I finished up the gallery updates from my half day at the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. As I pen these words, I’ve made my way into New Mexico. I’m in Glenwood, where The Catwalk Recreation Area calls to me. I’ve had bad luck during my past three journeys through here and found the facility closed for various reasons. I arrived in Glenwood late in the afternoon and found a place to park for the night. Tomorrow I’ll go exploring. I haven’t been to the Catwalk since my first visit in August 2003. I’m not expecting a richness of birds there, but you never can tell. I can only hope for the best.
