Bryant’s Woodrat

Neotoma bryanti

Often living in the same neighborhood as the larger Big-Eared Woodrat, the Bryant’s Woodrat usually makes its nest in rocky crevices, often on steep slopes. Their nests are much less ambitious than it’s “Big-Eared” cousin, but they will scatter branches and other materials near their nest openings.
