White-Throated Woodrat

Neotoma albigula

The White-Throated Woodrat ranges over wide areas from the Chihuahuan, Mojave and Sonoran deserts of Mexico and the southwestern USA. In San Diego County it can be found in the Anza-Borrego Desert. It is larger than the Bryant’s and Desert Woodrats, but smaller than the Big-Eared Woodrat.
